These services are delivered by Sarah Stimson, Chief Executive of the Taylor Bennett Foundation.  Sarah has nearly fifteen years of recruitment and training experience and was formerly the MD of Unicorn Jobs.  She has recruited from graduate to director level for comms roles both in-house and agency side.  In her role at the Taylor Bennett Foundation she runs four graduate assessment days a year and has recruited nearly 200 graduates to their PR programme so far.


Graduate Assessment Days

What this service includes:

– Selection of suitable graduate candidates from written applications
– Candidate notification post application
– Online suitability testing for all selected candidates
– Pre-assessment briefing for candidates on the telephone
– Assessment day will include; briefings for the candidates and the assessors, group exercises, a candidate presentation, lunch, interviews, candidate selection.
– All written materials for the assessment day will be provided including group exercise briefings and assessor packs
– Notifying successful candidates
– Written feedback to all unsuccessful candidates

Practical information:

– This service costs £1,500.  
– You will need to provide one assessor per candidate
– The assessment day will take place in your office and will run 8am – 4.30pm.  An alternative venue can be found for an additional cost.

Charity Communications Recruitment

I specialise in recruitment for communications positions in charitable organisations.  I have recently recruited a Head of Communications for The British Home, a Head of Communications for AMAR International, and a Head of Communications for Career Academies UK.

What this service includes
– Drafting a job specification
– Drafting a  job advert & negotiating rates with the relevant media
– Sifting applications and replying to all applicants
– Drawing up a long list of candidates
– Telephone interviewing up to ten candidates
– Drawing up a short list of up to six candidates and writing detailed candidate reports to send to the client
– Sitting in on candidate interviews and guiding the client in selecting the right candidate for the role
– Offering the successful canddiate the role and following up references if required
– Giving detailed feedback to all unsuccessful candidiates
