Graduate – Account Executive

MHP Financial is the specialist financial services and financial investor communications arm of MHP Communications. Within MHP Financial, we are the Financial Services team, a team dedicated to supporting our clients in the asset management, pensions, banking/capital markets, consumer financial services and private equity. We act on behalf of c10% of all UK defined benefit pension schemes by value. Combined, our asset management clients hold around £2.3 trillion of assets under management. For example, we work with two of the world’s biggest asset managers, Capital Group and Franklin Templeton, and the Swiss Stock Exchange as well as index and analytics provider MSCI. We pride ourselves in having unlocked the City’s best kept secret, by introducing the second oldest bank in the world, Berenberg, to PR in London. We call some of the biggest names in the space our clients, yet we also advise boutique players on their financial PR needs. Being size agnostic, what counts for us is the story our clients can tell, and how we can help them to tell that story.

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing financial team to work on an exciting portfolio of financial services clients.  The role will assist in the delivery of client programmes, provide support to account teams and display enthusiasm in all aspects of the role.  The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a forward thinking, fast paced environment.

You will have gained some work experience within financial services PR, which could be through work experience or internships.

You’ll have excellent writing skills in terms of press releases, brief proposals and other written materials including activity reports. And you’ll be highly organised, time efficient and confident in assisting with the delivery of client programmes / actions.
